The RAILS Search and Secure program is an effort to expand on and tailor the Immersive Simulation based training package for Radiological / Nuclear detection for the overseas Search and Secure mission. The first program Phase began in April of 2014 and has resulted in the addition of new equipment, such as the Canberra Radiagem-2000 and Inspector-1000, and new and improved training modules and environments while supporting the deployment and demonstration of RAILS to Search and Secure audiences. Additional Program Phases (Phases 2 and 3), enabled the development of the RAILS-Unity package, drastically modernizing the core game architecture and leveraging capabilities from the Unity 5 engine (platform independence being one such significant capability).
